Jana Happe - Manager |
Originally from Cherokee, Jana returned to the community after spending the 10 years in the Ames/Boone area. Jana received her LPN diploma and Associates of General Studies degree from Iowa Central Community College. After Iowa Central she transferred to Iowa State University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science. Prior to her return to Cherokee, Jana spent six years coaching volleyball and teaching at a community college.
Jana is currently living in the Cherokee area with her husband, Brian and their two children; Jaylee and Colton. Brian is currently working for Mark Perrin. Jana is happy to be a part of such a great community. |

Becky Lewis |
Becky has lived in Cherokee county since 1980. Becky worked as a Cosmetologist from 1987-2000, then worked with the Cherokee School District until 2006, when she began schooling to become a nurse. Becky received her LPN degree, as she was finishing her RN schooling and was employed part time as a nurse at the United Community Health Center in Storm Lake, Iowa. Upon receiving her RN degree was employed full time, and continued working there until her new venture began here at The Gardens March 22nd, 2010.
Becky is married to Kent who is engaged in farming. She has three children, Nate and his wife Amy, and their two children Coy and Bryn (makes me a happy Grandma) live in the Cherokee area. She has a daughter Jill who also lives and works in Cherokee. Jacob is the youngest graduating this spring and will be attending UNI in the fall. Becky is very excited to be working in the Cherokee area, and is glad to be a part of the staff here at The Gardens. |
